Here we are in a French winery. Cat is the one with red hair and Larry is the one with the beard on the far right side. We are tasting wine in the Burgundy region with travel friends.

Cat Xander is the Managing Editor of FreshVino.com. She is a wine drinker who loves to visit wineries around the US and the world. I’m Larry St. John, FreshVino Editor-in-Chief. Together we have traveled to many states, France, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand on wine-focused trips.

This site is intended to give you the fun, interesting, weird, and newsy facts about wine and the wine business. We hope to make it a highly readable and well written place to read the latest and a resource to answer some of those tricky questions like whether you need to buy a specific wine glass for every wine (not according to experts–they say a burgundy glass is a good all around choice).
